LIVE AN EXPERIENCE ON STAGE

The recital is the culmination of work. It allows the student to apply the lessons learned on stage and to express himself in front of an audience.

In addition to this, you will need to know more about it.

This is why, every year, all the students have the chance to participate in the annual show and to be on stage to present to parents and friends the fruit of a whole year of dance work and the progress made.

Spectacle de théatre équestre:  "Le cheval venu d'ailleurs" au Parc Solvay de la Hulpe, les 10 et 11 septembre 2022

Studio 52 a été heureux d’accueillir dans ses studios les danseuses qui ont répété le Spectacle de théâtre équestre (équitation, théâtre, danse, musique) pour fêter les 40 ans d’existence de l’asbl RÊNES DE LA VIE, centre d’hippothérapie et poney club intégratif.

​

Le spectacle porte sur l’enfance, le handicap et l’immigration.

 

Merci à nos 4 danseuses Bahia, Georgiana, Margot, Sarah d'avoir participer à ce très beau projet et pour leurs belles prestations. Bravo pour votre grande énergie.

Spectacle 2022:  "Un tour du Monde" au centre culturel de Woluwe-St-Pierre les 21 et 22 mai 2022 

Toutes les disciplines de l’école (initiation à la danse - classique  - contemporain - acro danse - modern' jazz - hip-hop - break dance - danse aérienne) sont rassemblées pour 2h de spectacle.

Mot de la directrice: Après 2 années d’interruption forcée, je félicite tous nos élèves et nos professeurs pour les magnifiques spectacles. Quel immense bonheur vous m'avez donné ce 21 et 22 mai par la qualité de votre travail, par votre investissement. Vous, élèves, vous vous êtes tous dépassés en tant que danseurs …que de talents ! Et vous professeurs, vous nous avez émerveillés par vos chorégraphies. Grâce à vous tous, nos spectacles ont été une grande réussite, pour laquelle nous avons reçu de très nombreuses félicitations.

Un grand BRAVO à tous et merci pour votre participation à ce projet d’envergure !

Mot du papa de Coralie et Nanouk: Permettez de vous dire à quel point j'étais en famille à ce point impressionné par le spectacle, le lieu choisit, la grâce des danseurs, les décors et costumes sélectionnés par thème, la mise en scène, les emails envoyés, les flyers à l'entrée... et je devine aussi à quel point cela vous a demandé une énergie "folle" pour préparer, coordonner la présence des jeunes, les motiver et faire de telle sorte à ce que cela soit un véritable succès comme ce fût incontestablement le cas. 

N'hésitez pas à relayer toutes mes félicitations auprès des professeurs de danse, des bénévoles,...et ceux qui vous ont aidé dont je ne connais pas.

Mille fois bravo à vous.

Art & Culture in Belgium by STUDIO 52

No stage, no indoor show, no audience for the 2nd year in a row?

No, nothing will stop us !!!

Nathalie decides to shoot in the museums that are open.

 

Thus, this Wednesday, May 26, 2021, some Studio 52 students had the opportunity to dance at the Belgian Comic Strip Center, in an exceptional Art Nouveau setting designed by Victor Horta.

 

I sincerely thank Isabelle Debekker (director of the CBBD), for allowing us to make this dream come true: dancing in a museum space with a few visitors, unexpected spectators… a meeting between 2 arts where living bodies and works of art on display mingle.

 

A big thank you to mothers Sara, Eugénie, Julie and Laure who supervised the initiation students (4-6 years old).

 

And finally, CONGRATULATIONS to my little ones and to the students of the Improvement Section (11-17 years old), you have been exemplary.

Getting 45 young amateur dancers to dance, for a whole afternoon, in an off-stage space open to the public, without a dress rehearsal beforehand, was a challenge.

Challenge met, I am proud of you.

 

From this beautiful afternoon, we will remember Joy, Excitement, Emotion, Complicity, Technicality… and above all PLEASURE OF DANCE.

What happiness!

"Ça plane pour moi" est un hit international de 1977, issu de l’union de 3 artistes Belges :

  • chantée par PLASTIC BERTRAND, Roger Marie François Jouret (chanteur, musicien, auteur-compositeur, producteur, éditeur et présentateur de télévision)

  • musique composée par LOU DE PRICK, Francis Deprijck (interprète, compositeur et producteur)

  • paroles écrites par PIPOU, Yvan Lacomblez (musicien, auteur, compositeur, interprète)

 

"Ta fête" et "Formidable" sont 2 chansons de STROMAE, Paul Van Haver, auteur-compositeur-interprète et producteur belge, sortie respectivement en 2014 et en 2013.

Ernest et Célestine

Hommage, avec mes tout-jeunes artistes (3 à 4 ans- initiation danse 1&2), à la série de livres illustrés "Ernest et Célestine", créée en 1981 par l'écrivaine et illustratrice ixelloise Gabrielle Vincent.

Les 2 amis, l'ours Ernest et la souris Célestine, célèbrent leurs 40 ans cette année.

Un immense merci à nos deux danseuses Amber et Elisa qui ont accepté de les accompagner 🥰.

Studio 52 at the Belgian Comic Strip Center

Le mercredi 26 mai 2021, quelques élèves Studio 52 ont eu l’opportunité de danser au Centre Belge de la Bande dessinée, dans un cadre exceptionnel Art Nouveau conçu par Victor Horta.

 

Je remercie sincèrement Isabelle Debekker (directrice du CBBD), de nous avoir permis de réaliser ce rêve : danser dans un espace muséal avec quelques visiteurs, spectateurs inattendus … rencontre entre 2 arts où se mêle corps vivants et œuvres d’art exposées.

 

Un tout grand merci aux mamans Sara, Eugénie, Julie et Laure qui ont encadré les élèves d'initiations (4-6 ans).

 

Et enfin, BRAVO à mes Petits et aux élèves de la Section Perfectionnement (11-17 ans), vous avez été exemplaires.

Faire danser 45 jeunes danseurs amateurs, tout un après-midi, dans un espace hors scène ouvert au public, sans répétition générale avant, était un challenge.

Défi relevé, je suis fière de vous.

 

De ce bel après-midi, nous retiendrons Joie, Excitation, Emotion, Complicité, Technicité … et surtout PLAISIR DE DANSER.

International Dance Day 2021 by Studio 52
On April 29, Studio 52 celebrates International Dance Day at Steigenberger Wiltcher's Hotel in Brussels.

We would like to thank Wiltcher's Hotel for giving our young students the opportunity to dance in this magnificent building: from the Loui bar, through the royal suite, to the elegant ballroom. 

Still Standing

Saturday February 20, 2021, Studio 52 makes culture! Let's dance to save our dance schools .

​

Still Standing For Culture ( http://www.stillstandingforculture.be/ ) launched a call to act across the country, to participate in spontaneous or programmed actions, collective or individual, in solidarity with all the people and all the sectors affected by the epidemic or by its management, but above all alive and expressing the diversity of practices in the cultural field!

​​

Studio 52 a saisi l’occasion, dans le cadre du happening organisé par et pour les écoles de danse, de faire danser ensemble certains de ses élèves (10-16 ans) pour partager leur passion et soutenir leur école de danse et la culture en général : circuit de 2h, marché et dansé dans le quartier de l’ULB et du cimetière d’Ixelles (voir vidéo)

Studio 52 Dance & Wellness Academy took the opportunity, as part of the happening organized by and for dance schools, to have some of its students (10-16 years old) dance together to share their passion and support their dance school. and culture in general : a 2 hour walked and dance tour, in the ULB district and the Ixelles cemetery (see video below).

​

In fact, for the past 11 months, Belgium dance schools have had to adapt to inconsistent and potentially dangerous measures for the mental and physical health of their students.

We are told of the last effort… These efforts are a real human disaster and it is high time that this changed!

​

We, the management of Studio 52, are tired and disappointed by these inappropriate measures, but we will not let go!

2 hour musical comedy composed of classical - neoclassical - contemporary - modern 'jazz - hip-hop ballets.

Word from the director: I congratulate all our students and teachers for the magnificent shows. What immense happiness you gave me this May 25 and 26 by the quality of your work, by your investment. You, students, you all surpassed yourselves as dancers and even some as actors… what talents! And you teachers, you amazed us with your choreography. Thanks to all of you, our shows were a great success, for which we received many congratulations.

Ballet 2018:   "Dancing among the horses" at the equestrian center "La Chevalerie" in Rhode-St-Genèse on June 23

Creation of a ballet mixing dances and horses, in homage to Maurane, for the final of the end of year show of the Riding School "La Chevalerie".

An unprecedented experience for our 2 students , dancers and riders, because dancing in an equestrian center and therefore on the sand is very different than dancing on a floor mat in a studio or in a performance hall, it is not the same supports.

Wonderful opportunity to combine their 2 passions during a ballet: Dance and Horse riding .

Show 2017: "Alice in Wonderland" at the Woluwe-St-Pierre cultural center on May 20 and 21.

2.15 hour danced musical cartoon made up of 30 classical - neoclassical - contemporary - modern 'jazz - hip-hop ballets.

Show 2016: "The last fairies" at the cultural center of Woluwe-St-Pierre on May 28 and 29. Danced musical tale inspired by the story "Martin and the fairies". 2 hours of show - 30 ballets (classical - neoclassical - contemporary - modern 'jazz - hip-hop - ragga).

Show 2015: "Lumena's travels" at the Woluwe-St-Pierre cultural center on June 6 at 5 pm and June 7 at 4 pm. Based on an original story written by Marie Silvestri and Nathalie Boutonnet: 2 hours of show - 30 ballets (classical - neoclassical - contemporary - modern 'jazz - hip-hop - ragga)

People live peacefully in Luminaria, a land illuminated all year round by a magical crystal ball that gives off excess light.

The day of the great feast of "The Light" has arrived. During this ceremony, the crystal ball is displayed in the reception hall of the palace. The sumptuous Empress Lumena opens the parade with the crystal ball, followed by the procession of inhabitants grouped together on the theme of light. Suddenly the party is interrupted by the dark witches who drop the crystal ball which breaks into three parts. They send these pieces to three dark places where living bioluminescent organisms live. The people of Luminaria are scared as the lights start to flicker. Lumena goes to search for the three fragments at the bottom of the ocean, in the unusual city where there is a village with troglodyte dwellings and in the depths of the jungle. The adventure begin…

Ballet 2018:   "Dancing among the horses" at the equestrian center "La Chevalerie" in Rhode-St-Genèse on June 23

Creation of a ballet mixing dances and horses, in homage to Maurane, for the final of the end of year show of the Riding School "La Chevalerie".

An unprecedented experience for our 2 students , dancers and riders, because dancing in an equestrian center and therefore on the sand is very different than dancing on a floor mat in a studio or in a performance hall, it is not the same supports.

Wonderful opportunity to combine their 2 passions during a ballet: Dance and Horse riding .

Show 2017: "Alice in Wonderland" at the Woluwe-St-Pierre cultural center on May 20 and 21.

2.15 hour danced musical cartoon made up of 30 classical - neoclassical - contemporary - modern 'jazz - hip-hop ballets.

Show 2016: "The last fairies" at the cultural center of Woluwe-St-Pierre on May 28 and 29. Danced musical tale inspired by the story "Martin and the fairies". 2 hours of show - 30 ballets (classical - neoclassical - contemporary - modern 'jazz - hip-hop - ragga).

Show 2015: "Lumena's travels" at the Woluwe-St-Pierre cultural center on June 6 at 5 pm and June 7 at 4 pm. Based on an original story written by Marie Silvestri and Nathalie Boutonnet: 2 hours of show - 30 ballets (classical - neoclassical - contemporary - modern 'jazz - hip-hop - ragga)

People live peacefully in Luminaria, a land illuminated all year round by a magical crystal ball that gives off excess light.

The day of the great feast of "The Light" has arrived. During this ceremony, the crystal ball is displayed in the reception hall of the palace. The sumptuous Empress Lumena opens the parade with the crystal ball, followed by the procession of inhabitants grouped together on the theme of light. Suddenly the party is interrupted by the dark witches who drop the crystal ball which breaks into three parts. They send these pieces to three dark places where living bioluminescent organisms live. The people of Luminaria are scared as the lights start to flicker. Lumena goes to search for the three fragments at the bottom of the ocean, in the unusual city where there is a village with troglodyte dwellings and in the depths of the jungle. The adventure begin…

LIVE AN EXPERIENCE ON STAGE

The recital is the culmination of work. It allows the student to apply the lessons learned on stage and to express himself in front of an audience.

In addition to this, you will need to know more about it.

This is why, every year, all the students have the chance to participate in the annual show and to be on stage to present to parents and friends the fruit of a whole year of dance work and the progress made.

Studio 52 a été heureux d’accueillir dans ses studios les danseuses qui ont répété le Spectacle de théâtre équestre (équitation, théâtre, danse, musique) pour fêter les 40 ans d’existence de l’asbl RÊNES DE LA VIE, centre d’hippothérapie et poney club intégratif.

​

Le spectacle porte sur l’enfance, le handicap et l’immigration.

 

Merci à nos 4 danseuses Bahia, Georgiana, Margot, Sarah d'avoir participer à ce très beau projet et pour leurs belles prestations. Bravo pour votre grande énergie.

Spectacle 2022:  "Un tour du Monde" au centre culturel de Woluwe-St-Pierre les 21 et 22 mai 2022 

Toutes les disciplines de l’école (initiation à la danse - classique  - contemporain - acro danse - modern' jazz - hip-hop - break dance - danse aérienne) sont rassemblées pour 2h de spectacle.

Mot de la directrice: Après 2 années d’interruption forcée, je félicite tous nos élèves et nos professeurs pour les magnifiques spectacles. Quel immense bonheur vous m'avez donné ce 21 et 22 mai par la qualité de votre travail, par votre investissement. Vous, élèves, vous vous êtes tous dépassés en tant que danseurs …que de talents ! Et vous professeurs, vous nous avez émerveillés par vos chorégraphies. Grâce à vous tous, nos spectacles ont été une grande réussite, pour laquelle nous avons reçu de très nombreuses félicitations.

Un grand BRAVO à tous et merci pour votre participation à ce projet d’envergure !

Mot du papa de Coralie et Nanouk: Permettez de vous dire à quel point j'étais en famille à ce point impressionné par le spectacle, le lieu choisit, la grâce des danseurs, les décors et costumes sélectionnés par thème, la mise en scène, les emails envoyés, les flyers à l'entrée... et je devine aussi à quel point cela vous a demandé une énergie "folle" pour préparer, coordonner la présence des jeunes, les motiver et faire de telle sorte à ce que cela soit un véritable succès comme ce fût incontestablement le cas. 

N'hésitez pas à relayer toutes mes félicitations auprès des professeurs de danse, des bénévoles,...et ceux qui vous ont aidé dont je ne connais pas.

Art & Culture in Belgium by STUDIO 52

No stage, no indoor show, no audience for the 2nd year in a row?

No, nothing will stop us !!!

Nathalie decides to shoot in the museums that are open.

 

Thus, this Wednesday, May 26, 2021, some Studio 52 students had the opportunity to dance at the Belgian Comic Strip Center, in an exceptional Art Nouveau setting designed by Victor Horta.

 

I sincerely thank Isabelle Debekker (director of the CBBD), for allowing us to make this dream come true: dancing in a museum space with a few visitors, unexpected spectators… a meeting between 2 arts where living bodies and works of art on display mingle.

 

A big thank you to mothers Sara, Eugénie, Julie and Laure who supervised the initiation students (4-6 years old).

 

And finally, CONGRATULATIONS to my little ones and to the students of the Improvement Section (11-17 years old), you have been exemplary.

Getting 45 young amateur dancers to dance, for a whole afternoon, in an off-stage space open to the public, without a dress rehearsal beforehand, was a challenge.

Challenge met, I am proud of you.

 

From this beautiful afternoon, we will remember Joy, Excitement, Emotion, Complicity, Technicality… and above all PLEASURE OF DANCE.

  • chantée par PLASTIC BERTRAND, Roger Marie François Jouret (chanteur, musicien, auteur-compositeur, producteur, éditeur et présentateur de télévision)

  • musique composée par LOU DE PRICK, Francis Deprijck (interprète, compositeur et producteur)

  • paroles écrites par PIPOU, Yvan Lacomblez (musicien, auteur, compositeur, interprète)

 

"Ta fête" et "Formidable" sont 2 chansons de STROMAE, Paul Van Haver, auteur-compositeur-interprète et producteur belge, sortie respectivement en 2014 et en 2013.

Ernest et Célestine

Hommage, avec mes tout-jeunes artistes (3 à 4 ans- initiation danse 1&2), à la série de livres illustrés "Ernest et Célestine", créée en 1981 par l'écrivaine et illustratrice ixelloise Gabrielle Vincent.

Les 2 amis, l'ours Ernest et la souris Célestine, célèbrent leurs 40 ans cette année.

Un immense merci à nos deux danseuses Amber et Elisa qui ont accepté de les accompagner 🥰.

Studio 52 at the Belgian Comic Strip Center

Le mercredi 26 mai 2021, quelques élèves Studio 52 ont eu l’opportunité de danser au Centre Belge de la Bande dessinée, dans un cadre exceptionnel Art Nouveau conçu par Victor Horta.

 

Je remercie sincèrement Isabelle Debekker (directrice du CBBD), de nous avoir permis de réaliser ce rêve : danser dans un espace muséal avec quelques visiteurs, spectateurs inattendus … rencontre entre 2 arts où se mêle corps vivants et œuvres d’art exposées.

 

Un tout grand merci aux mamans Sara, Eugénie, Julie et Laure qui ont encadré les élèves d'initiations (4-6 ans).

 

Et enfin, BRAVO à mes Petits et aux élèves de la Section Perfectionnement (11-17 ans), vous avez été exemplaires.

Faire danser 45 jeunes danseurs amateurs, tout un après-midi, dans un espace hors scène ouvert au public, sans répétition générale avant, était un challenge.

Défi relevé, je suis fière de vous.

 

De ce bel après-midi, nous retiendrons Joie, Excitation, Emotion, Complicité, Technicité … et surtout PLAISIR DE DANSER.

International Dance Day 2021 by Studio 52
On April 29, Studio 52 celebrates International Dance Day at Steigenberger Wiltcher's Hotel in Brussels.

We would like to thank Wiltcher's Hotel for giving our young students the opportunity to dance in this magnificent building: from the Loui bar, through the royal suite, to the elegant ballroom.

Saturday February 20, 2021, Studio 52 makes culture! Let's dance to save our dance schools .

Still Standing For Culture ( http://www.stillstandingforculture.be/ ) launched a call to act across the country, to participate in spontaneous or programmed actions, collective or individual, in solidarity with all the people and all the sectors affected by the epidemic or by its management, but above all alive and expressing the diversity of practices in the cultural field!

​​

Studio 52 a saisi l’occasion, dans le cadre du happening organisé par et pour les écoles de danse, de faire danser ensemble certains de ses élèves (10-16 ans) pour partager leur passion et soutenir leur école de danse et la culture en général : circuit de 2h, marché et dansé dans le quartier de l’ULB et du cimetière d’Ixelles (voir vidéo)

Studio 52 Dance & Wellness Academy took the opportunity, as part of the happening organized by and for dance schools, to have some of its students (10-16 years old) dance together to share their passion and support their dance school. and culture in general : a 2 hour walked and dance tour, in the ULB district and the Ixelles cemetery (see video below).

​

In fact, for the past 11 months, Belgium dance schools have had to adapt to inconsistent and potentially dangerous measures for the mental and physical health of their students.

We are told of the last effort… These efforts are a real human disaster and it is high time that this changed!

​

We, the management of Studio 52, are tired and disappointed by these inappropriate measures, but we will not let go!

Ballet 2018:   "Dancing among the horses" at the equestrian center "La Chevalerie" in Rhode-St-Genèse on June 23

Creation of a ballet mixing dances and horses, in homage to Maurane, for the final of the end of year show of the Riding School "La Chevalerie".

An unprecedented experience for our 2 students , dancers and riders, because dancing in an equestrian center and therefore on the sand is very different than dancing on a floor mat in a studio or in a performance hall, it is not the same supports.

Wonderful opportunity to combine their 2 passions during a ballet: Dance and Horse riding .

Show 2017: "Alice in Wonderland" at the Woluwe-St-Pierre cultural center on May 20 and 21.

Show 2016: "The last fairies" at the cultural center of Woluwe-St-Pierre on May 28 and 29. Danced musical tale inspired by the story "Martin and the fairies". 2 hours of show - 30 ballets (classical - neoclassical - contemporary - modern 'jazz - hip-hop - ragga).

Show 2015: "Lumena's travels" at the Woluwe-St-Pierre cultural center on June 6 at 5 pm and June 7 at 4 pm. Based on an original story written by Marie Silvestri and Nathalie Boutonnet: 2 hours of show - 30 ballets (classical - neoclassical - contemporary - modern 'jazz - hip-hop - ragga)

People live peacefully in Luminaria, a land illuminated all year round by a magical crystal ball that gives off excess light.

The day of the great feast of "The Light" has arrived. During this ceremony, the crystal ball is displayed in the reception hall of the palace. The sumptuous Empress Lumena opens the parade with the crystal ball, followed by the procession of inhabitants grouped together on the theme of light. Suddenly the party is interrupted by the dark witches who drop the crystal ball which breaks into three parts. They send these pieces to three dark places where living bioluminescent organisms live. The people of Luminaria are scared as the lights start to flicker. Lumena goes to search for the three fragments at the bottom of the ocean, in the unusual city where there is a village with troglodyte dwellings and in the depths of the jungle. The adventure begin…
